Learn About Stick Six
Connecting with a new local church community can be difficult. It can take about six weeks to get the full church experience. We want to encourage you to explore all that God is doing here at GSBC and to do that, we think it is best to “Stick Six.” Plan to interact with our church community at six different times. We would love for you to worship with us, fellowship with us in one of our Community Groups, explore what it means to serve on our different ministry teams, and simply get together for lunch or coffee. Whether you’re new to the Reynoldsburg area or have lived in Central Ohio your entire life, we’re excited to walk with you in exploring what it means to put down and cultivate new roots at GSBC.

Community Groups
In Christ, we are united together in one body and are called to be on mission together. We know it can be hard to connect with everyone in a particular church. That is why we think that meeting regularly in small group environments is crucial for true missional community. We see these groups as the front lines of our mission to help people believe, grow and hope in Jesus—people inside and outside of the church. Our Community Groups meet at different times of the week and range between eastern Columbus and Licking County.

Adult Ministries
Our men’s and women’s ministries are a monthly meeting designed to equip men and women as they live and serve in their roles. Each meeting is centered on Scripture and relevant for daily life. These meetings also allow for deeper community and fellowship.

GSBC KIDS
We believe that one of the most critical aspects of our mission is to make disciples of the next generation. We want our children to hear the Gospel so that they will believe, grow and hope in Jesus. We do not merely want to teach them moral lessons or help them conform to a particular standard. We want them to experience new birth in Jesus and move deeper into relationship with Him.
Infants through 2 years old are welcome in our nursery, which is staffed by 2-3 background checked adult volunteers. Children 3 years old through Kindergarten will be dismissed from the worship service after the final worship song, but prior to the sermon. This age range is our GSBC Kids Class, with a curriculum perfectly created to teach them the love of Jesus at their learning level. All Kids will enjoy a lesson, a snack, and encounter the Gospel in a safe space for them. Kids in 1st grade and beyond are welcome in our worship service. We will have kid specific worship guides to help them follow along with the sermon at their own level. We know kids can be wiggly and loud and we welcome it all!

Ministry Teams
We believe that God has gifted every Spirit-filled believer with particular gifts to serve the mission of the church. Because of this, we want each member to be an active part of one of our ministry teams. Your contribution and ministry to our church is part of God’s design to help you believe, grow and hope in Jesus by leaning into the truths of the Gospel. Our teams include: Worship, Connections, Hospitality, GSBC Kids, Events, Finance, Creative, Facilities, and Prayer. We have many opportunities for you to serve!
