Our Values & Commitments

1. Gospel

The Good News of Jesus’ death on the cross and resurrection from the grave for you is the foundation for everything. It is our salvation, joy, peace, and life. In Christ, we have been reborn, our sins have been forgiven, and we’ve been given a new identity and eternal life.

Because of the value we place on the Gospel, we are committed to seeing Christ in all of Scripture, Christ-centered worship, and expository preaching.

2. Community

Through the proclamation of His Gospel, God is at work to unite all of us together in one body—the Church. Now, we share these blessings and this new identity together through faith. Our union with Christ is the basis for fellowship with God and with each other.

Because of the value we place on our community, we are committed to qualified leadership and meaningful membership, relational Community Groups, and prayer.

3. Mission

God uses this unified and redeemend community, the Church, in His mission to draw others to Himself and to renew our broken world. We are commissioned to make disciples of all people by proclaiming the Gospel. We want everyone to believe, grow, and hope in Jesus.

Because of the value we place on our mission, we are committed to a personal missional lifestyle, community engagement, and church planting.

Our Core Beliefs

The Bible

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and infallible Word of God, the only rule of faith and practice.

God

We believe in one God existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They are the same in substance, co-equal in power and glory, and eternal.

Sin

We believe that man was created in innocence, but sinned in Adam, and is now totally unable to remedy his sinful condition.

The Gospel

We believe in the good news of Jesus Christ, who lived the life we failed to live, died the death we deserved to die, and rose again to give us new life in Him. All who repent of sin and belive in Christ are saved.

Grace

We believe that salvation is the free gift of God, apart from works or merit, and received by faith in Jesus Christ alone, whose blood was shed on the cross for the forgiveness of sins.

Eternity

We believe in the eternal salvation of all who believe the Gospel and the eternal judgment of all who reject Jesus Christ.

The Sacraments

We believe that Christ has ordained the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper to be observed until He comes. In them, God impresses on our hearts and bodies the truths and realities of the Gospel, to be received by faith.

The Church's Mission

We believe that the greatest mission of God’s people is to make disciples of all people, everywhere.
